A. The Pilot
Russ is a former mechanical engineering veteran of 28 years at Seagate Technology. In 2016 he left the corporate world to pursue his dream of becoming an entrepreneur by forming Rare Air Drone Services LLC. His strong skills and passion for photography, videography, and video production, coupled with his interest in all things mechanical, led him to becoming a drone-services and photography entrepreneur. Since January 2017, Rare Air has provided drone services to over 6 different industries. Russ is the proud father of three sons and has an incredibly supportive wife, Dawn.

Standard service area is roughly a 35-mile radius from Berthoud, complimentary on jobs over $200. Smaller jobs (under $200) include 35 miles round-trip; extended-area mileage fees apply beyond that. We're always willing to travel further for larger projects at a negotiated rate.
